How far can we go

Sailing upstream from our boatyard towards Norwich we allow our boats passage beneath Bishop Bridge to experience a section of the river Wensum that is restricted and inaccessible for larger powered hire vessels – sailing past the iconic ‘Cow Tower’, and into the heart of Norwich before reaching the end of navigation at New Mills Yard.  This route takes 1.5 hours each way without stops.

Sailing downstream from our boatyard towards the countryside we allow our boats as far as The Reedcutter Pub, Cantley.  This route takes under 2.5 hours each way, without stops.

Where can we moor

Only moor at designated moorings, these are either riverside pubs or free 24hour mooring spaces provided and maintained by the Broads Authority, these locations are clearly signposted along the river and shown on our map. They have suitable draught or depth of water at any tide and have mooring tie points to safely secure the boat.
